This restaurant is located at the front of a bowling club, which we found a bit odd. The bowling however, does not intrude visibly or audibly on the restaurant. It was recommended to us by our b apparently they used to have a smaller restaurant in the town centre but moved to the bowling club to expand. We ate there two nights in a row. It is a nice touch to be served a complimentary glass of peach wine when you arrive and are scanning the menu. I had a main meat dish one night and fish the next. Don't come here This a review of the restaurant and its owner. The owner of this business should try doing something else as he is not competant in client service. He is rude to the point bei g obnoxious and so authotarian with his staff that they run scared. As our waitress was taking our drink order he interrupted her, ordered her to serve another tsble and walked away without helping us or even explaining. When we were ready to order our food, we flagged down the same waitress. She explained that her boss, the owner, ordered her not to take our order. 30 minutes later, after asking several times, the owner deigned our table with his presence. Found this restaurant by good reviews on trip advisor. They speak virtually no English and our French is terrible although I can read menu French! We had snails to start and then Sweetbreads and Steak. It was all lovely and very rich but everything we expected.
Looking for a nice meal during our holiday and we certainly found it here. The service was a little slow and haphazard but the food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One of the only restaurants open most of the week as far as we could see
