Wanted a light lunch, perfect place, but would love to come back and really do the food justice. A great array of produce, attention to detail and clearly a real love of the food and wine from the staff. The choice of wine looked great, sadly only had a glass! Definitely useful to have some French to work through the menu. I had the most complex and sophisticated toasty of my life - included foie gras, Apple and smoked goose (I think!). My daughter was very pleased with a similarilay complicated croque, cheese, truffled jambon blanc and some type of v tasty dressed tomatoes. My husband's dish was as beautiful as tasty - seared salmon and colourful radish salad, all dressed to perfection.

Excellent choice of wines (a great white Haut-Médoc, to name but one), very tasty food (truffled Edam, for instance), all this with very accurate and friendly advice with a smile. The place itself is small and very nicely decorated, a hundred yards from the beach, in a small, quiet street. Don't go elsewhere....

By intimate I mean it's not very big inside. There are some chairs and tables outside but beware of the strong breeze that blows off the sea and straight down this street.A reasonable choice of wines and decent classy snacks such as charcuterie. Nice atmosphere but a little overpriced.

Don't miss this place, beside Ku G, tucked away in a little side alley. Lovely selection of wines, served in lovely glasses(always a bonus for me).My husband & I shared the mixed plate of meats & cheese's. It was really great. No complaints at all about this place. Book a table now

We were there several times and ate at the cafe, sometimes for dinner. The food and wine were always excellent, especially local wine. The Basque sausage plate special mention, we would every week if we lived locally. Maybe again next year !!!!

Good selection of tapas dishes but with a French slant. Beautifully presented dishes, tasted as good as they looked, washed down with nice wine. Tucked away in a side street. Very small but busy on a Thurs night at tale end of summer season.

Tucked away in a side alley next to a warehouse and the also excellent KuG, CdeV is a great spot to sit down with friends and have a glass or 3 of wine accompanied by some of the best selected fresh ingredients available!

Just to be clear this is a very small wine bar NOT a restaurant. It serves a good variety of drinks and tapas. Nice place and friendly staff but very small and a little expensive. Book a table now

This small location has good drinks and tapas but they are very expensive. Service is mostly friendly but the place is a little cliquey.
