Mi piace visitare Murten (o Morat per dirlo in francese) in quanto il paese è in grado di trasportarti in un'altra epoca, molto lontana dalla nostra. La confiserie Monnier resta sempre un punto fermo, ogni volta che vado a Murten per me è tappa fissa. Pasticceria di altissimo livello, offre anche ottime cioccolate calde (una manna dal cielo, soprattutto d'inverno). Il posto è spesso frequentato dai locali, ma non manca qualche turista occasionale. Ne vale davvero la pena, è uno dei punti fissi di Murten, da oltre un secolo.
We have coffee and cake here each time we visit Murten. Spotless premises, great service and fantastic coffee and cakes. It is like an old fashioned tea-room with a lovely selection of cakes to buy out front and then take thru to the restaurant at the rear. Also wonderful chocolates to buy and take with you. Should not miss this one!
Katastrophen-Brunch.Servierpersonal traf nach uns ein!Als erstes lag die Rechnung auf dem Tisch,bevor er gedeckt wurde.Die Auswahl war spärlich.Aufgefüllt wurde auch nur nach Aufforderung.Servierpersonal war während dem Brunch zwei Mal anwesend zum Kaffe bestellen.Definitiv nicht zum empfehlen!
This is my second visit to Murten and second visit to the Tea Room for hot chocolate or tea and a piece of this unique sweet bread- a great stop for a late morning or mid-afternoon snack in the middle of a great medieval town.
