Regular guest of the evening, I love this place for its atmosphere out of time. Quiet enough before 1:00. At 2 o'clock the bars around ferment and everyone find themselves at the Connétable for a last drink. The population is very heteroclite, artists, models, coffee boys and bartenders in the neighborhood at the end of services, wandering tourists, accustomed to the place,... In the evenings of 'affluence', you spend your time queued for the toilets under the stairs, or to order your beer, a glass of champagne or a shot at Joseph or Corine. But we take advantage of it to meet people the discussion is easy. Once served, go down to the cellar. Cold tobacco odour, some light spot in a dark roo...

the treasury is a picturesque place. That went wrong. dirty, dusty, execrable service, hello is optional. Foreseeing towels if you unwittingly arm yourself to a table, beer, it sticks. Wherever you go, you're embarrassing. Where there's trouble, there's no pleasure. So, no pleasure.
