Lovely afternoon tea with prosecco in a fabulous location, with views if the Welsh countryside. Celebrating great friends 40th Birthday, the staff were very attentive... I was just chatting away passing comment to say as no one wanted salmon sandwiches, and now they made tuna, which I didn't like and laughed it off, few moments later the man who was served us brought out some salmon sandwiches and when the Birthday girls said she likes Egg sandwiches, that came out too! nothing was too much problem. The landscape and views are stunning, and the area is well-maintained, just like the hotel. The staff is committed to providing 100% attention at all times. Nathan went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was special for the wedding celebration. The young lady at the reception always greeted us with a smile, making us feel very welcome. The food was decent, with a nice buffet featuring homemade fish cakes. While I wasn't particularly impressed, the majority of our group enjoyed it, which just goes to show that not everyone has the same taste. I am from the village of Chancery and due to a car destroying my home i was advised to find a hotel for the weekend so i rang the hotel and they were very good in finding me a room for 2 nights and the service given by the staff was excellent and the food was probably the best i have had in all my years of visiting hotels in my capacity as a coach driver. If you ever need accommodation in Aberystwyth this is the first place to try comes highly recommend.
Recently came for afternoon tea for a friends birthday. The staff were very attentive, one overheard a friend saying she fancied some salmon sandwiches and brought her some without being asked. We were there a long time (probably out stayed our welcome), but we weren't made to feel rushed. The sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and prosecco were delicious. 5� Book a table now
After spending four nights here, I can't recommend this place highly enough. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff were fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble for them. It had a touch of luxury, yet felt like home at the same time. I will definitely be coming back in the future!
Lovely afternoon tea at the Conrah. The setting is gorgeous, the hotel beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was scrumptious and the leftovers were boxed up for us to take home. Will be returning very soon.
We made a reservation for our 25th anniversary and we were not disappointed. The staff was fantastic and attentive without being intrusive, and the food was superb. I would recommend it to everyone, and we will definitely return.
