An authentic bistro, the Continental Divide is located in a log cabin with a range of seating, including interiors in the cozy lodge and outdoor seating on the covered veranda with unobstructed views of the Madison mountains. Amazing boss! For a city of 804 I enjoyed one of the best gourmet dinners I've ever experienced. We started with cold smoked lamb tongue. Just delicious. I had enlisted Elk with Lavendel and Dijon Senf. Cooked for perfection with medium rarity. My husband had Vene Osso Bucco. Offer comfort food as well as it will. We finished with a gran marnier cheesecake with oreo crust and some homemade ice cream. My husband told me it was one of the best meals I ever had, and I traveled a lot and I'm a food). He was right.
Excellent meal enjoyed by our family to celebrate a birthday! A favorite was the Walleye, which was very fresh, fluffy and delicate with a butter honey sauce. The bison was very tender and without wild taste. Steak au poivre was perfectly cooked with a delicious sauce served with fresh vegetables and a wonderful potato scallop. We enjoyed the Grand Marnier cheesecake and chocolate mousse for dessert!
Delicious. Great Flavor combinations. By far the best moose I had in 23 years in Montana. Bison was great too. Not overhauled. Intime setting, good service. Quail appy was great.
