This was my first time trying Cook Out, coming from the Northeast where none are found. In all honesty, the burger I ate (spicy chicken was mediocre, being a little too dry. However, the 4 stars come from the banger milkshake (highly recommend Banana Pineapple shake! I tried. Also not overly expensive, and good-sized portions (2 sides for their trays that certainly to fill you up, and then some.
This place is pretty good. I tried a grilled chicken sandwich and I swear that the chicken had been cut into a very small triangle that was not even close to filling the bread. It was actually insulting, but I was already home when I saw it. Quality is no longer the same. I have to give them a break for a while. I don't have to spend my money to be disappointed.
I can usually go to any Cook Out and have a decent experience. But in the last few times I visited the Midlothian Turnpike site where I could feel Mehh. My food hasn't been right in the last three times, and that's not like spending some money. $10.85 a tablet once 4. I think I have to stop visiting so location.?
Great food for a decent price! Always faster and friendly service! Amazing milkshakes and open super late, which is great as so many places are close in a ridiculously early time.
