Long time customer! Come up every few months with my mum and Aunty (who lives local- but it's a long way for us and never have had a bad meal! Beautiful place with wonderful ambience and the staff are just excellent! We think you're all amazing! Yesterday we brought up some international friends who had a lovely time. Only negative was the menu change! We have seen many menu changes over the years now we have been coming but the new menu wasn't the best. Disappointing to see popular favourites gone (charcuterie plate, burger, thick chips, garden in a glass and before it the steak! and some others altered (the Melba was nowhere near as good as it was before . It was good to see the bread rema...
Truly my most memorable experience in the Yarra! The history was lovely and mixed well with modern design and a great menu and stylish space. Wines are exactly what is hoped and more than expected. Their Pinot Noir and Blanc de Blanc are not to be missed. Service was polite, courteous and interesting. Coombe is not for the masses but for lovers of quality I recommend if you prefer a quality hospitality with wine and food that delivers on your hope for something special. Makes me wish they had an accommodation choice.
Our very first visit at Coombe, was just perfect. The staff were wonderful, very attentive and helpful and incredibly well presented. Our outing was stunning, I can't recommend the high tea, highly enough. Thankyou for making our outing so wonderful.
