My fiance cooks BBQ for competition, so I am a little pampered to say the least. He loves to go to places he reads about, and I get together to day. Well, since I'm not from here, he'll show all his knowledge. So he takes the Coopers in NB and everything I'm gonna say I never went back. It's more than 4 years. We came from the Palo Duro Canyon for the weekend and really wanted something bbq. Bill tells me that in Mason the original is, so I gave up and I'm glad I did. Nobody makes it better than the original. You never had to have brisket, but the chicken and the sausage was worth the stop. If I want Coopers, I'll go to Mason. My husband and I were back from a wedding in Comfort TX back to Minnesota and found this place on the way and we were NOT disappointed! The food was sooo good I wanted to try everything on the menu!! The staff was very helpful, polite and friendly! The next time we're in the area, we have to make a stop back!
The best barbecue in Texas.. I had the cabrito, pork herd and cattle ribs and they are the bomb!!
