"Thanksgiving meal was below expectations and the food was barely warm. It looked better than it tasted. Pre-plated earlier that day. Was just better than nothing."

The restuarant is located inside of the Hilton Hotel. Your GPS will have you confused ? I love Copeland's. Their food actually taste like food from New Orleans.. Love it. I ordered The crawfish ravioli. It was delicious. The cajun sauce is creamy and amazing. We ordered a fishbowl. Waitress said it had 7 different alcohols in it. It had me feeling right lol My friend had the crabcakes and shrimp Alfredo. It was tasty as well. You can't go wrong with the red beans and rice. Catfish, etoufee and gumbo are great as well. We did not have to wait for a table on. Sunday evening. The cocktails were very good. My girls each had a soup (gumbo and bisque) and they loved it. My husband?s and my food were great. We split the pumpkin bread pudding and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and again, both were great. Our server was fantastic as well and dealt with my sassy cheeky children in a charming manner.

Restaurants inside hotel chains are usually sketchy. This place is ok. The server was Michael and he was very nice. The price tag was $75 for 2 people. That seems a little pricey. There are better places in the area but it will do in a pinch.

We went in for drinks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The service was impeccable...drinks and food delicious! The decor is truly reminiscent of New Orleans where my family roots began!
