Had a farewell gathering with friends last night at this previous spot of Habitat Restaurant & Bar. Vibe was full of joyfulness. Honestly, I have not been to this type of bar for a while and felt quite interesting. There were at least two to three bartenders working at the bar to serve the drink orders and so similar number of chefs in the kitchen preparing food orders. Drinks were served in a very efficient way but not the food. We have been waiting for the food serving around twenty people of our groups. If you are looking for a bar with the friendliest owners and staff then look no further, this place is west ends answer to "Cheers", The atmosphere is amazing, The owner, namedly Brendan will go above and beyond to ensure that he and your staff provide you with all you need in a great night with plenty of Craic! The foor is delicious and we are suckers that just keep coming back - this is always our pick for a great night/ afternoon/Lunch in west end -and Functions, we have now hosted 2 functions of 250+ at this venue and it was seamless and wonderfully enjoyable! They like chili here. Both the olive entree and chicken burger had enough chili to let your lips know. The olives were served warm and a decent serve size. The burger was tasty with crunchy bacon and cheese. The Monday $15 special of a schooner and burger is a good deal on this area.
Service was a bit slow considering there were only a handful of people in the place. But there was only one person working the kitchen too.
Nice ambience with room to move onto the street during the earned days. The music was at a volume that allowed conversation without telling. ✔️
Copperface Jacks is one of my sons go to places - he described it as sort of like "Cheers", where everyone knows your name and they're always glad you came- ha. But to my pleasant surprise that's how it was. The had live not too loud music and the food was good and reasonably priced. My son had chicken and gravy and I had fish with chips and salad. Good daily fare for the people who live in the high rises around west end. Very friendly staff without being intrusive and good at suggesting wine with the meal. Highly recommend

Was so disapointed! Drove all the way from Bray Park to meet up with my cool friends here for a cool night. Boring music and the bar guy was gross. Not happy with the baked potatoe and sausages for dinner - whats up with the weird home style food? Urgh. Head to somewhere like caxton street for an epic night.

Nice little location, wouldn't have known it was here unless a friend had taken me. Walking in we were greeted with a friendly smile and hello. The venue was very clean. There service and coffee was beautiful.
The burgers were delicious. I wish they served aioli or tomato sauce with the chips though. We went on Tuesday and they have a 2 for 1 meal deal. Can't ask for better value!

You need to try their Guinness cocktail - it will change your (drinking) life! Brilliantly friendly bar staff and great atmosphere. Best onion rings in Brisbane.
