I enjoyed visiting the Hornby and other museums, where I had some hands-on fun with a few young boys setting up trains and cars on the tracks. While there is a model train museum in Brighton, I found the models there to be much older. Although Broadstairs doesn’t have any vegan dining options, I did check out Café and Shakey Shakey in Ramsgate. Beach Buoys in Ramsgate and Aqua 43 Café in Broadstairs also had a delightful vegan special that included a sweet tart, salad, and new potatoes.
