We usually go to the Chez Cora in Kirkland, but thought we might give the Pointe Claire Chez Cora a chance. We ended up regretting doing so. The service was somewhat slow and not the friendliest. What I did not like the most was that I could see the fruit and salad chef typing on his phone constantly. He would use his phone and then pick up some food and start handling it. This went on for the entire visit. It is very unsanitary to be using the phone and then handle food without washing your hands in between. I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I was fortunate to arrive when there was no queue just 2 people ahead of me. Within 10mins however, there was a line out of the door and all tables full. Always a good sign. I had the Jo Construction which is 3 eggs, 3 sausages and 3 strips of bacon, served with toast and potatoes. I added some sautéed mushroom to the potatoes and has a cappuccino to wash it down. Service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant was busy and it took a little while to get the food but that also indicates cooked to order which is a plus. I would certainly go back.
After a bad experience at another Cora (see my other reviews), we were a little hesitant to come here again. We had been before, bit had been a while and we were worried that our other experience was reflective on the chain. We were very wrong. The service was excellent. The food served was fresh, tasty and included lots of fresh fruits and an endless cup of coffee. Will definately return to this location.
Always service with a smile. They are very accommodating and eager to please all requests. They offer the classic eggs any way you want with all the sides and you can go super healthy. Needless to say if coffee is your drink they offer endless amounts of it. During the week they also have a few lunch specials with soup or salad and a dessert to go with the lunch menu meal.

If you are hungry this is one of the places you should eat. The breakfast is delicious It come with everything you can imagine. Eggs toast coffee. I had the combination eggs Benedict without the ham but it was just as delicious. Served with seasoned potatoes A mountain of fruit fit for a king. A healthy meal. Was not the first time and not the last time I will visit.
Worst experience at a Cora’s ever! Avoid this place at all cost. Undercooked bacon, undercooked potatoes. Burnt sausages, Toast with no butter, coffee with no milk or sugar. Maple syrup packed incorrectly leading to a mess. Save your money and time and go literally anywhere els and I guarantee you’ll get a better breakfast.
We went for breakfast. I had a poached egg, softly cooked, bacon, potatoes, toast (which I did not eat) and three pieces of fruit and coffee. Just wish that the potatoes would have been cooked longer at a hotter temperature. Soft and bland. It was $10 for my meal
We went for a 10 AM breakfast today and found the food to be very good and the service to be certainly adequate. It is a good standard restaurant that you can always count on.
