The name Coreanos aptly clues you in to what to expect here, as it 's Spanish for Koreans. Run by Korean-Americans, this shop offers not just traditional Korean plates like bibimbap (mixable rice bowls with meat, fried egg, and veggies), tteokbokki (rice cakes), and fried chicken, but also ventures into fusion fare by adding Korean ingredients like bulgogi to Mexican items like tacos and quesadillas. The result: deliciousness that stays somewhat faithful to both cuisines. A bulgogi quesadilla placed umami-filled Korean-flavored beef inside a nice, fresh, somewhat crispy tortilla shell, all topped with some extra savory sauce. Service at the counter was friendly and efficient. Note that there...

Favorite restaurant by far in this area of Allston! So, so consistently good (both delivery and dine in), but you definitely have to know what to get. The bowls are by far the best item on the menu (tacos are fine, just small, chicken is okay, and otherapps are good but nothing special). They always come out steaming hot, with delicious meats toppings, with a delicious cup ofmiso soup. Beware that seating is limited here, since it's almost always busy and there are only 3 tables in the space. Food isincredibly worth it though, and you can't go wrong with the Coreanos bowl w/ bulgogi.
My husband, his cousin and I came here to Coreanos Allston it was our first, but the cousin has tried the food here in this establishment. Our overall experience the food was great. I would definitely recommend others to try out this place. Try thechicken it?s great I ordered the boneless one in spicy, tteokbokki has to go with that and kimchi fritas w/ tofu. It?s likestreet food indoors. I also tried a bite of the tofu taco my husband was eating that tasted good too. We?ll have to come backagain another day. The owners workers were very friendly ????????????????
5/5!!!! And that's just for the delivery! I can only imagine how amazing it must be fresh from the restaurant. The chicken is absolutely incredible. I do want to mention that we ordered the kimchi fried rice, but it had way more kimchi than rice, so I wouldn't choose that again. However, the fried chicken definitely made up for it all. It was perfectly crispy, well-fried, and seasoned to perfection. Book a table now
Coreanos is a mixed bag for me. I think the food offering sound great on paper and from what I’ve heard from people it used to be phenomenal in the past. Unfortunately, my experiences have been varied and usually meh. The chicken poppers fries for example weren’t crispy even when I picked up myself and the chicken was tough but I feel like the great flavors or there.
It is difficult to taste Korean chicken in the United States because the chickens commonly used in the United States are older, larger and greasier than Korean ones. The fried chicken, here is the best in Boston. But boneless chicken is so-so. I recommend ordering the bone-in chicken. It's not spacious and has lots of guests but you can get the table quickly.
One of my absolute favorite places in Boston. I usually get the Korean fried chicken (either spicy or not spicy, both are good), and some pork quesadillas on the side. Great as a comfort meal, a lot of flavor and good amount of sweetness. Chicken is fried to a wonderful crisp. Perfect for eating in or taking out
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian choices available, and many dishes can be easily modified to be vegetarian as well. Dietary restrictions: They excel at accommodating both vegan and vegetarian dietary needs. Book a table now
This place truly deserves a 5-star rating for a cozy takeout experience. It's the perfect fusion concept in the ideal location. We visited on Thursday evening, and there was no wait. Food: 5/5.
