I've been visiting this place for years, but now I feel like they've crossed a line. The atmosphere has lost its charm, and even if you’re selling hotdogs, at least do it with some style. Can we please return to using actual plates? I don't want to speak negatively about the daytime bartender, as I think she's lovely in her own way, but perhaps it's time for her to retire. That's just my opinion. Unfortunately, the quality here has really declined. I waited two hours for crabs, only to see them constantly being served to others while I was seemingly ignored. When it was finally my turn, I was given a dish that wasn't even what I ordered, and it felt like I was being told to take it or leave...
Came in with my mom to ask about there steamed crabs. The guy at the front had nasty attitude like we were bothering him. We asked could we see what they looked like so he called someone in the back tobring them out. 25 minutes later we were still standing there waiting with no communication. Unacceptable. I will never patronize them again we ended up going up liberty rd. If I could give zero stars I would.
When it comes to alcohol, it seems as if SOME establishments only keep the Black Stereotype brands. Hennessey and Malt Liquors. Would be nice to see them become more diverse with their selection...as most places have become. This is not a cornet liquor store in the hood.
The staff and owners seem to overlook their customers, treating them as if they have no other choices. While the food is quite delicious, the service leaves much to be desired.

It's a neighborhood spot that has changed with the population and ownership. Food is just okay, service is horrible but you might get decent music on certain nights.
Fun place big neighborhood bar. July 31 last night was karaoke night. We need singers to show up. The music was great the crabs are delicious and good size.
Local bar with older working crowd. That has great wings and they have really good priced sweet meaty crabs. Glad they brought them back.
This is my favorite bar lounge. I enjoy spending time here; it's a great vibe. I typically visit after work.
