We arrived at 6:25 and ordered right away as we had an 8 o’clock performance to make. Service was completely in disarray. Each main course for 4came separately but one never arrived until 7:40 despite repeated reminders. I had two bites and had to pack up the meal so as not to be late for play. One appetizer didn’t arrive till the 3 person was fed. The waiter was embarrassed, providing extra splashes of wine and dessert for 2 of us who got to eat in a timely fashion. He seemed flummoxed by the kitchens lack of organization. At least we were not charged for my meal . I don’t blame the waiter but the poorly managed kitchen. Probably will not be back which is too bad as the food is good.
I was here several times and always enjoyed a reliable good eating and experience. this time, the staff was absolutely terrible at dissatisfied. our server did not know the bases of the wine, although this is a wine bar. she always forgot what we ordered and had to come back a second time to check. the cocktails were badly mixed and eating was subpar. I will not come back too badly, it was a good lead.
Stop fleing everything. We tried to eat something four times, every time the server came back and told us they were out of him. they even complained that it became a hassle that told the customers that they did not have half of the menu. this place is comfortable, it is amateurish, but it is comfortable. if they have the menu. go on a few blocks.
The food is fantastic. Be sure to take a picture of the chalkboard at the top of the stairs, as it contains the only information about the wine flights and can be hard to read from your table. The upstairs area is quite noisy.

This has been my favorite haunt for a long time, but I think I'm going to have to retire it. After my last 3 experiences of acceptable service, I think it's time to move it along.
The bar was fantastic, and the bartender was wonderful. The wine selection was very good, and the food was excellent! They also offered a nice selection of quality beers.
