We decided to try this cafe after a poor experience at a nearby cafe, the previous day, hoping for a better breakfast. Our visit here far exceeded our expectations. We had a traditional English breakfast with tea or coffee at a great price. It was...served quickly very soon after we had placed our order. Everything was hot and nothing on our plates was cold including the baked beans. The staff were sociable and friendly. The decor in this cafe was lovely. We loved our visit so much we came again the following day before we began our journey back home.
usually great here for cyclists, but not today. wing to the opened servier window to place my order with the dame standing there. of the shoulder cried someone that we are not closed. it was 1.03pm and the published opening times are up to 2pm. Sunday we are closed, said the dame through the open window and turned me bluntly away. when their business closes and they begin to accuse covid, they simply throw back their understanding when they turn away rudely customers who never return and start their competitors, many of whom are in holmfirth.
the times that have been approached by pastness and have never gone to the house, which were called today on Sunday morning anyway, are so friendly, organized and conscientious about the security of the virus. had a small breakfast, tea/coffee and toast and really tasty, did not want tomato, but something was offered. first time. so soon becomes perfect. they also take a visit worth. many thanks, the best caffe of all time.
We visit this café almost every week after we have been walking. There are a number of cafes in Holmfirth. Why do we go there quite simply the food is cooked individually and comes out quickly and it is cheap! The breakfast must be...the best value for money in the area. Sometimes the staff can be a bit grumpy, but bear with it, the food is good.
