I have been coming here for years. The last 2 times I have been here especially this time was bad. The service was extremely slow. It took 20 minutes for someone to even come and take our order. Then it took another 35 minutes to bring our order. My meal was pretty bad compared to what I'm used to from this place. My eggs Benedict was overcooked and had kind of a strange taste to it. Not sure if it was the ham or the hollandaise but I was not happy with it and since it took so long for my order I didn't dare ask for another one. I had already been waiting an hour. I just ate my food and left. I'm not sure if I will be back at this point. The prices are great but if its going to be like this...

Located just around the corner from my house, I have been wanting to try this place for a while and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy, the breakfast is great, the portions are large, and most items are priced under 10 dollars, making it the perfect breakfast spot. I ordered the hash browns with fried potatoes while my friend ordered the special Philly cheese steak burrito, both of which were delicious. The fried potatoes were perfectly crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, just like carrots. Overall, a delicious dining experience.
This cozy little restaurant has a lively atmosphere. Although it is small on the inside, the food is delicious. The pancakes were a bit bland, so I may not return specifically for them, but there are plenty of other items on the menu that would bring me back. The service was fantastic and the coffee was excellent. Despite the small cups, they were constantly refilled without us ever having to wait. There are plenty of parking spaces available as well.
The restaurant itself is vintage and charming, with original features, appliances, decor, and dishes that give it a unique character. It even gave me the vibe of an old Arthur Treacher's. The staff all seem to work together like family, and everything runs like a well-oiled machine. This is the standard that all other Sacramento restaurants should aspire to. I can't say enough good things about it! Absolutely delicious! Book a table now
We visited the restaurant for breakfast on a busy day, and we truly enjoyed the delicious food and outstanding service. We were greeted with a smile and seated right away, even though there were five of us and I was in a wheelchair. We left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces, and we’re definitely coming back!
This restaurant is the only one that can always get my bacon cooked perfectly crispy! I am a huge fan, and usually go for the biscuit and gravy combo, but decided to try the bacon and eggs today. The cooks prepare my eggs over easy and they are delicious. I also really enjoy the rye bread.
I was pleasantly surprised when my breakfast was delivered. Cornerstone crafts a delightful corned beef hash scramble. It was fresh and hot and the flavors blended deliciously. Thank you Cornerstone staff for giving up time with your families on Christmas morning to provide my breakfast.
The food is incredibly tasty and the serving sizes are generous! I absolutely love the California Omelet, with the biscuits and gravy coming in a close second. However, every meal I have tried here has been outstanding. I can't wait to finish my California Omelet now! Book a table now
I always get my bacon cooked perfectly at this restaurant! The biscuits and gravy are amazing and I really enjoy their potatoes. Thank you, Cornerstone! And don't forget to try their coffee - it's a must!
