Ok first off pastrami is susposed to have flavor some type of taste the pickle shouldn't be the best part of the pastrami honestly if there was no pickle I wouldn't have eaten the sandwich the pastrami was like they made photo copies of the pastrami an put the pictures on bread with cheese an mustard no taste at all my boy Anthony had to put banana pepper juice on his yo eat it.. 1 out of 10... I wouldn't recommend this sandwich unless it was free. Hey Cortinas I want my money back...
Best ilItalian Deli and eatery in the OC. The signature Cortina Special is hard to pass up. But, everything is good to eat here. Bonus, next door is a deli that is phenomenal great selection of deli meats and cheeses. Cookies are exceptional as well. Highly recommend the fresh or frozen meatballs for a wonderful home cooked dinner or also grab some provolone or mozzarella and sandwich bread for delicious meatball sandwiches. They have everything here to make tasty Italian dishes.

Delicious sandwiches! I really enjoyed Cortina's Special (Italian sandwich), but was blown away by the Rocky Balboa (porchetta, provolone, broccolini, garlic chili oil, pecorino romano served with au jus). Their sandwiches are fresh and packed with flavor. Came here during lunch time so parking was limited and there was a bit of a wait for my order. Next time I'll order online for faster pick up. Highly recommend for amazing sandwiches! Book a table now
The restaurant offers an extensive variety of sandwiches that are both large and satisfying. I tried the Rocky Balboa and the Tuna, and both were bursting with flavor and freshness in the bread and meat. I've introduced some friends to this place, and they’re now hooked on these sandwiches too. Be prepared for a wait during lunch hours, as it gets quite busy!
I really enjoy the fireball sandwich, and my mom is a big fan of the lasagna. They do serve garlic bread with the lasagna, but it’s usually stale. When my mom tries to bite into the hard bread, her neck veins pop out, which isn't a pretty sight. If the bread were fresh, I would definitely give them five stars!
This restaurant is fantastic! They offer a wide variety of options, from salad sandwiches to pasta dishes. I visited for a casual business lunch, and I was not disappointed. There are plenty of parking spaces in the back, along with many outdoor seating options.
I've had many different sandwiches from Cortina's and they are all good but my favorite is the Meatball and Cheese. Can't go wrong with that one! ?Food: 5/5 Book a table now
