Cory's Spot is fantastic. The staff is friendly, the service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. This restaurant truly caters to the community, and I hope everyone continues to support and safeguard it. I enjoyed the Salmon Patty with Grits and Eggs, while my wife had the Slim Thick Turkey Burger with fries. We also shared a flavored lemonade slushy, and everything was really tasty. We definitely plan to return to try the Shrimp and Grits and other items on the menu.
I'm disappointed to say that this restaurant has really declined. Upon entering, there's an odor reminiscent of a butcher shop. Additionally, their health department rating is only a B, primarily due to issues with improper cooking temperatures for meat. It’s a shame because I used to love their fish and the ghetto burger. Now, I won't be ordering any meat here, and until the smell is addressed, I doubt I’ll be having anything else either. I hope they manage to get things sorted out.
Exceptional customer service! The owner, Latrice, is extremely friendly, welcoming, and truly wonderful! She's an amazing business owner and was genuinely excited that I could positively affect her life, one scent at a time. I ordered the BLT with fried green tomatoes, and it was absolutely delicious! The salmon breakfast plate and the grilled chicken wrap are also fantastic!
As newcomers to Georgia, we had an appointment for my daughter at the salon in the same plaza. We came across Cory’s Spot and decided to try it out while looking for a place to eat. I absolutely love coming here! The food is top-notch, and the owner is genuinely kind and down-to-earth. It’s a fantastic black-owned spot that deserves so much more recognition. Plus, there’s a hookah lounge next door where you can enjoy hookah while eating. Highly recommend!
The food is outstanding, and there are incredible deals to be had! However, I did encounter a staff member—a shorter woman with a darker complexion—who was rather rude and sarcastic, which really made me hesitant to return. That said, the food is truly fantastic!
I was in Atlanta and visited this small establishment and the food was on point I noticed that it was packed and that drew my attention I must say that the food did not disappoint the next time I’m in town I will visit again I forgot I had the Ghetto
