The staff in this restaurant are outstanding. They always go above and beyond without being intrusive. Even the guy who brings out the food from the kitchen stood in a very professional way with one arm behind his back and the other balancing the tray of food but he still managed to greet and acknowledge us when we came in and left. My elderly husband tends to mumble, so through no fault of their own they have him the wrong dessert. Everyone was so apologetic and offered us free coffee which we declined so they gave us two free kir royals instead which was most welcome. A true taste of France. We visited the Cote Brasserie in Peterborough and it felt like we were eating in a small cafe in France. The French onion soup was very authentic. Absolutely delicious. The mussels were small and sweet and my husband had the Breton Fish stew which he loved as it contained a great variety of fresh seafood. Great portions too. Banana crepes for desert were delightful. The staff catered to our every need without being intrusive. We will certainly return
I really enjoyed my dinner here. We were able to be seated straight way even though we didn't have a booking. The food was excellent with a French theme and the waiter was attentive and prompt when required. I would recommend this to couples and older family gatherings as it is a little upscale however I'm sure children would be welcomed.
From walking in to leaving everything was top class. Waiters were engaging, helpful and funny. And the food wow was on point. When most places either have the food or the service it was great to find a restaurant that had both. We will be back and recommending Cote to everyone. Thank you for a great evening
