It is a long way from Australia to France so when we are here we are always hoping for an exceptional meal to reward our effort. Cote Et Jardin nailed it for us. A genuine family restaurant serving fresh and tasty French cuisine. As others have said the friendliness of the staff is of note. They made an extra effort to help us understand the food and wine choices. It was great value, not just because of the food and wine but also the garden setting and overall experience. Nothing disappointed us. And we can’t think that it would disappoint you either.
Specialties are nice to have but hey, Côte Jardin will be enjoyable if you're in for an all evening dinner, not for a quick one. We came here had two formule plats entrees main course and it took about two hours of waiting and enjoying. Good real French Breton food, but a bit on the snobby side it was, as the promise wasn't exactly fulfilled.
I was recommended to eat here. I made a reservation in the garden. the host was rude by yelling us in front of the crowd that no strollers accepted. We decided to leave this miserable place.
We hadn't booked but arrived at opening time on the off chance of being seated. The owners were very accommodating and made up a table for the four of us
