Daily is good until 30 September 2022. We visited a Friday dinner. We were greeted by the hostess, she sat us where we wanted to sit and hostess pointed to the specials. Our waitress appeared in decent time, answered our questions, took our drinks and lunch orders. She didn't write it down and food came exactly as ordered (I find that impressive). I had chicken gumbo and Cobb salad (sorry no picture I was hungry); Nabeby had everything you can eat catfish (corn bread) and it was GOOD! The first row of fish was a small plate that served (in the beginning small work to the next plate); I mentioned to waitress that would not be enough. First I’ve been to this Cotton Patch and I must say they were super polite, the hostess sat me, told me the name of my waiter and I felt at home right away. Steven, my waiter was real nice and quick with the service. I had an issue with the BLT as I didn’t care for the mayo they used, my taste not the fault of the restaurant, well I mentioned my error in not reading about the mayo and he gladly made me a new sandwich, and made it to go as I was full from the half I ate along with the AMAZING cinnamon apples, wow! Anyway I will make this Cotton Patch my Cotton Patch.
I was disappointed by the new menu that has done with the bowl of chicken dumplings soup, and it in a combination with 2 pages! It was something some of our ladies were looking forward to a really cool day, but could not get JUST the soup. The only soups offered were the soup of the day (chicken noodles) and potatoes, of which our taste buds had not desired or expected! So we had to choose from the "Pick two / Mix and Match to get the Chicken Dumplings soup!! Please bring the Chicken Dumplingssoup back as the only duck.
We ordered three dinners and the food was very good. We were in receipt of all ordered items with enough tartar sauce and gravy for the respective entrees. 5 Stars for the ease of function in picking the order up and food quality along with good portion sizes. The only knock is no plasticware was included but we were headed back to the house so no harm; no foul this visit. All the food is house made at this restaurant chain making it feel like a Mom Pop joint.
