The oxtails were incredible—rich, beefy, and fatty, practically falling off the bone. The jerk chicken had an explosive burst of intense flavor with the perfect amount of spice. The curry goat was equally impressive, offering incredible moistness and deliciousness that could rival the oxtails. The sides were just as delightful; the cabbage was tasty, the plantains were good, and everything was served with classic rice and beans that were just superb. For dessert, I tried the sweet potato pudding, which resembled pie and was very satisfying. I also had a piece of red velvet cake that was yummy. To drink, I opted for a pineapple ginger beverage, and once again, I was amazed by the flavor. All...

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was blown away! I don't usually enjoy oxtail, but great Caribbean cuisine is often judged by its oxtail and curry goat. Since I’m not really keen on goat, I decided to give it a shot. It was absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly tender and practically fell off the bone, and the gravy was perfectly seasoned. It paired wonderfully with the rice and peas. However, for me, the real highlight was the jerk chicken! It was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The sauce was to die for, with just the right amount of heat. I was pleasantly surprised by the cabbage; I didn’t expect it to be that good, and the plantains were the best I’ve ever...

What I found even more concerning was the poor hygiene standards. I noticed various health and cleanliness issues that raised doubts about the safety of the food. The surfaces were messy, the kitchen area looked dirty, and the facilities were not well-maintained. Any restaurant needs to prioritize basic hygiene, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. Because of these experiences, I cannot recommend this restaurant to fellow food lovers. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback to heart and uses it as an opportunity for necessary improvements. For now, I advise potential customers to think carefully before choosing to dine here.

I visit this restaurant at least once a month specifically to enjoy their oxtail. However, I’ve noticed that the staff, particularly the ladies who serve the food, can be quite rude. I always make an effort to be polite, as that’s how I was raised—believing it’s important to treat those who prepare your food with respect. Unfortunately, I don’t receive the same courtesy in return. I'm not sure if this is a common characteristic among Jamaican service staff, but I believe that if someone has a bad attitude, they shouldn't be working in customer service. Overall, I would rate the service as takeout. Book a table now

This is one of the few authentic restaurants in LA. Their jerk chicken has the perfect kick, and the goat curry is delicious as well, although it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I ordered the two-meat combo, and it's fantastic for lunch takeout since they open early. The service is excellent, and I would definitely order from here again.

Stumbled upon this restaurant, and this was one of the most pleasant surprises in a long time! We ordered the stew chicken, the jerk chicken, the beef patty and the chicken patty, and EVERYTHING was so delicious! In fact, I'm going in again now so I can order some stuff to take to the family. I highly suggest!!!

Everything we tried was incredibly delicious! We had snapper, jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, and patties—truly the best food! A big thank you to Mrs. Donna, all the cooks, and everyone there. May Jah bless you all abundantly! Book a table now

The 2-hour drive was worth it for the delicious food, awesome mouthfeel, and affordable payment. I'll definitely be coming back for their food, prices, and atmosphere.
