My husband and I kept our tradition of ordering chinese for Valentine's Day but decided to try somewhere new. I have eaten breakfast at this restaurant before and it was decent but I never knew they made Chinese food too. We googled Chinese restaurants and this one was one of the highest rated. Man were they wrong. We ordered from the menu on the website. Dinner for two said it came with soup. We did not get any. Our egg rolls were grease rolls. We also never received any plum sauce, soy sauce or fortune cookies. We ordered the kids fish for our son. It was supposed to come with two pieces of fish, we got one piece and fries and the whole meal was burnt. I will never eat at this restaurant a...
Had a coupon buy 1 entree or combination plate get one free! Used a coupon few months ago and got what we wanted...combination plates. This time said no just applied to lunch combination plates because owners had changed and losing money on regular combination plates. Same people owned it when we ordered before. Not my problem. Feel we would have ended up with a pile of fried rice. Will not eat there again and will let everyone know how we were treated.
Drove there from Windsor, my brother drove from London. After looking at the immense selection of foods, we chose the dinner for three. Immense portions, great food. The service was fantastic, every step of the way. It was enough for at least four people. I know somewhere in the review section,there's always a pessimist, but not here. We will be back. Take the time to go. If you like good food, you'll love this place. And the price will blow you away.
Feels a bit like a greasy diner but *use* to be one of my fav places to eat. Im a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me including delicious "mock- meats". The new owners removed them from the menu so I took a break from going there. I decided to try again and get the tofu meal but they didnt have any tofu either. I think i got cashew vegetable stirfry, which was 80% celery. The meat dish my partner ordered had more vegetable variety. Book a table now
This is a great place to eat. Daily specials, great breakfast and lunch menu. Reasonably priced, full plate of food. They close around 2pm. Grandma walks around to every table and makes sure that everyone is happy with their dining experience.
Countryside has specials each day, which often include dessert. The Chinese food comes in many different combos, with three or four items. Most of them are quite tasty. Also have take out.
Good variety for lunch options; Chinese and Canadian. Huge portions on the lunch Chinese specials. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Location is easy to access.
Food is mediocre. Quality can be inconsistent. I sometimes enjoy the broasted chicken but it can be inconsistent. Not the best choice in town for Chinese food. Book a table now
