Cour Du Bailli La - Table reservation

The place was lovely however the service and some of the food left much to be desired. There was some confusion in our order and one of the dishes was not put through, when we told the waiter we had ordered more he simply replied ‘no’. When we tried to re-order we were told the kitchen had closed without any of the guest including us having been informed of this and the waiter did not help us find a solution. The food itself was mediocre, the steak was very good but the rest was bellow average. We also were made to wait around an hour for our food to arrive and over 20 minutes to take our order.

We were staying at the hotel for a couple of days and had one meal included in our package. Felt rather limited by this as there was no choice at all; my GF requirements were noted but sauces were taken away rather than adapted. Pudding was probably upgraded to a knickerbocker style desert but not with the right spoon to do it justice which everybody else had! Silly little things but service felt a bit haphazard. Having said that, the food we ate was nice enough and some of the other dishes on offer looked great we just didn't have those options. Chose not to eat here for our second night.

We were here on a Sunday and fortunately this was open for lunch. I would advise booking as it filled up quickly. We sat in the beautiful courtyard which was ringed by colourful plants. Service was excellent and spoke English.

A delightful courtyard area and a very enjoyable and delicious lunch on a hot day a lovely spot to relax and enjoy Bergheim. Highly recommended be sure to book ahead or turn up promptly at 12pm as is very popular!

Nice service, delicious looking food and with nice balanced taste. The restaurant appeared authentic and was nice and tidy.
