Location: ski in ski out restaurant Perfect sun trap away from a windy day! Instead of looking down over the mountains you get a broad view over many mountain tops. For those that know the valleys you can see Bel Air restaurant in 1650 in...the distance. There is also a great view of the airport so you see the planes land and take off. Sometimes hot air balloons go past if you’re lucky. We never had a bad weather day this trip but there are plenty of tables inside if so. There is a lovely fire nook by the bar where I spent a lot of my time in the evenings while waiting for my party to arrive. Lovely bar service. Great chats with Alexis and Benjamin, while they prepare drinks for the restaura...

It is the end of a long season, and by now staff are thinking of their summer jobs. We used to often visit the Courchneige under the previous ownership, it was great value and in the most fabulous position on the Bellecote piste. I decided...to give it a try. I stood and waited to attract a waiters attention for a table .....ten minutes later I succeeded in getting a table although the restaurant was less than half full) All the waiters and waitresses were very smart and efficient looking, but after being seated and given the menu and carte de vin I waited another 15 minutes before anyone took my order . a very officious looking maître de was during this time, strutting around doing nothing...

This place has smartened itself up and has a super new wood fired pizza oven. Set on the slopes it provides a great setting. We had good food here delicious lasagne and nice pizzas.....but. The but is that the place is chaotic. Three meals...arrived and then there was an hour wait before the other three meals came. Apparently they only have one person making pizzas despite advertising them as a key part of the menu. Staff admitted that this is a daily problem and they were obviously embarassed. I hope they get it sorted out otherwise it is a place to avoid ordering the pizza, or at least to check whether they can actually bring what you have ordered.

We stayed yet another year for a week at the Courcheneige Hotel and had dinner at the brasserie as part of the half board. The hotel was as always excellent value for money, but the service in the restaurant was beyond what we could have...dreamed of. Steve Dufour who took care of us all week went over and beyond in making the stay unforgettable impeccable service and care for detail and at the same time a very personal touch making every dinner at the hotel very special as a guest you really felt appreciated and at the center of attention to a degree that I have not even experienced in the best Michelin starred restaurants. Thank you. Book a table now

We had stayed at the Courcheneige for many years but had a terrible experience a couple of years ago when the food was terrible and the organisation non existent. We were staying in 1850 and wanted to see whether there had been an improvement in...the catering. There had! We were warmly welcomed and decided to eat indoors. Staff were polite and efficient and we had a good lunch. The restaurant is well appointed and the food was good. Between the four of us, we had tartiflette, quiche and risotto. With drinks and coffee, the cost was 119 euros, which is not cheap, but this is Courchevel 1850! ... And the views are great

I'd rate that 500000 if I could. I ordered a pizza and they didn't cut it and give me at least one sharper knife?! it was bigger than the size they told me. on the menu it said with cooked ham. the ham on the pizza was mostly raw. when I ordered French pommes, they gave me no mayonnaise or even ketchup. the suppe came with only brotkruste. the drinks came later than eating, and they liked one on my pineapple juice! I don't joke and if you don't think I'm dying in this restaurant.

I enjoy stopping in this restaurant and stayed lso in the hotel. beautiful to see how skiers drive down the mountain. the personal is very friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. eating is good and the service excellent. there is a...Apres bar outside the terrace when with long days skiing on the way back to 1850 city finished.

If the weather is fine this location is fantastic being on the side of the piste and in the sun. The food is regional and of good quality as is the service.
