This has been a regular for me on Sundays for the past 5 years after dropping my fiancé off at her part-time employment at a big-box retailer nearby. Factually, I?ve been dining here since 1983 when I started working in law enforcement. So, my reviews should be and will be spot on. The food is the typical diner favorites of burgers and breakfast. It used to be a kosher deli then Kosher style deli and now a diner style deli. The food is average however, the flies fromexcrements from the nearby sidewalk and food droppings seem to have over- taken the restaurant. The food and its serving size is good for the price. Staff are courteous. One issue during my visit is that one of the waiters charged me for a deluxe bacon cheeseburger on the order ticket when I specifically asked for a regular and never said I'd be charged for a deluxe until the check came, which is why I had to knock a star off.
It's cool place to get a quick bite to eat. If you know what's is to your liking. My waitress was great. Didn't have a long wait to be seated. Even tho it was kinda busy. We had a choice of indoor or outdoor. All in all had a good meal mostly, wasn't fond of my potatoes. But everything else was good.
11/30/20, The best pastrami in the area Whiskey down served with pickles and cole slaw .Their breakfasts are the best. I was disappointed with their processed onions rings yak . They have doughnuts, cakes and muffins. They have fresh brewed coffee and soups 2, they feature out/in dinning. Enjoy

My hubby I had not come here for awhile but it was awesome!! I ate all of my food because it was tasty. The sausages were my favorites! Hubby had Chocolatechip pancakes which he devoured..and.. forward to returning. Hope we are able to get the service waitress..Service was great also.
Best food on 161st Street. I order a turkey sandwich. Real carved turkey is used not lousy pressed meat like Subway uses. Matzoh ball soup is decent. It is a little dirty. I once had a roach go on the table. Other than that very good and friendly staff.
This is the spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I suggest pancakes, french toast, #69 sandwich or burgers. Many other things to choose from.
