Although most of these Restaurant chains such as Buffalo Grill etc are alike and offer poor example of French food, this offering is slightly better than its competitors. However it varies from place to place. The Chatearouxrue Deols Courtepaille overall is poor and I would...not particularly recommend it although I accept there is little choice if you’re looking for something very local close to you hotel. However as always your much better off looking else where for food. The best thing this group offers is their country sausage but apart from that there is nothing worth recommending. the menu looked interesting outside and around 18h21 we pushed the doors that were opened by a mature dame insisting that the restaurant was closed, despite the doors unlocked and the lighting switched on. it was a December evening .raining, dark and cold outside, but the leader insisted no, they can not wait, go into them immediately until we officially in 9 minutes time. so we ended in buffalo grill near for our evening meal.
We arrived for an early Sunday evening supper after a long days drive and we were seated very quickly. Not a surprise as there was no one else in the restaurant. After a short wait the waitress came for our order and I asked for...Jambon Grille. Non was the reply, we don't have any and she said she'd give us another few minutes to find something else, turned her back on us and walked into the kitchen. That was our cue to leave.
from beginning to end it was a pleasant experience. a nice reception at the arrival and very good service during our meal. we chose both the menu at the price of 19.50 euro. my wife had entrecote steak and I had duck breast, both cooked medium. perfect, accompanied by chips and runners buoy. to dessert, we had both spiced and ice cream that finished it perfectly. highly recommended!

we were in courtpaille at other places before and had good food and service. but it needs some work. the meal of my wife would have had chips, we had to ask the waitress where they were and they came later. we also asked about a carafe water that never came. eating was good and freshly cooked, but since they were not busy, the service could have been better.
we are 6 and a dog who was greeted at the door made a fuss of the dog! greeted us in eating and drinking quickly came very nice much of herself dog got bowl water for herself have always used this chain...on our travel and always been good the workers in this were beautiful and smiling English/French talk is always amusing, but we all did well between us!
We usually eat at a Courtapaille resteraunt if we can when travelling in France. The food and service is generally consistent and the surroundings always pleasant. On our last intended visit we found that they had changed the menus and had increased their prices by...quite a large margin. This is a pity as they are not such good value for money anymore.
Staying overnight nearby whilst traveling south this restaurant was in the estate of hotels and restaurants. The service and food was, for a chain restaurant, well done. A complimentary green salad on arrival does away the need for a starter and the grilled food was...excellent. Wines reasonably priced. Ask for a discount voucher from your local hotel!

We were the only patrons as it was a Monday night late December and about 6pm. Had an excellent burger and my husband as usual had steak Hache and chips. The Cafe gourmand was also excellent. House wine was reasonably priced. Had a 15% discount...voucher so meal was less than £20.
Open all day so can be guaranteed a meal whatever time you like.Nothing fancy, basic grills etc and they have menu's in English if you don't speak French. Pleasant decor.
