The menu caught my attention, so I decided to try this place with the new owners. The atmosphere is delightful, the staff is friendly, and the presentation of the dishes is impressive. I did find the service a bit slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy, but if you’re part of a chatty group that enjoys taking their time, it might not be an issue. The Sea Bream Ceviche could have been a bit lighter, as it tasted a bit too much like olive oil, in my opinion. I highly recommend the roasted cod—it brought back memories of dining at Nobu. And all the desserts are simply perfect! Just looking at the photos makes me want to have them all over again!
we visited to dinner after the administration to pack a storno table, as the restaurant is fully booked. a warm welcome to the arrival and excellent service throughout. we dined from the main menu but next time will try the tasting menu. I had the lamb that was packed with flavors exceptionally and perfectly cooked. my friend went for the duck, which was again perfect great aromen and accompanied by a side of seasonal veg and potato cure. we divided the dark chocolate mousses, the divine was the candied orange peel and the chantilly cream were a decadent supplement. only a picture managed by each of the foods as was too good!
I had lunch at the Cove on a beautiful sunny Thursday while sitting on the terrace with a view of the beach. I really enjoyed the food, which was well-prepared and made with quality ingredients. However, the shared charcuterie platter was disappointing; it was pricey, and the three types of salami were quite ordinary and lacked creativity. On a brighter note, the Caesar salad and smoked salmon were excellent, and the desserts were delicious. We didn’t order a main course, but we will definitely return.
Food was absolutely perfect a great varied menu and excellent tastes. Service needs attention. If the maitre d’ is going to come out to greet and chat with some tables then don’t ignore others and simply walk past them without any acknowledgement. If staff are going to give fast attentive service to their favourite customers then how does that make new customers feel if they don’t belong to that same clique? I would def revisit but hope that service levels can become equal to all.

We opted for the testing menu with wine flights. The food was good overall but one or two of the dishes were a little underwhelming... the fish cerviche and the fish course were both a little bland. The beef main course was stunning however, as was the pudding and the complimentary selection of breads. We also enjoyed every paired wine.
wonderful dinner from the special menu tonight. we have been better than we have been in 2020, not because of the pandemic. quiet ambiente, although everyone was taken table, inconspicuous and attentive service. only a relaxed quality restaurant with delicious food and a great view of the cornish!
The experience was excellent overall! The food, the service from the waitstaff, the drinks, and the stunning view all contributed to a wonderful visit. The menu offers a fantastic selection as well. I recommend making a reservation to avoid any disappointment, especially during the summer.
On Friday night, after a long 300-mile drive, I checked into a nearby B&B and called the restaurant at 8 PM to see if we could come in for dinner. To my disbelief, they informed me that they had already stopped serving.

Excellent food choice and setting overlooking beautiful Maenporth beach. Food was well presented, we both had the Hake served with seasonal vegetables which was so fresh. A lovely place to eat.
Great restaurant. Fantastic view. Perfect service. One of the best steaks in the UK. And oh lala, what a desert menu. Excellent experience.
