First time back since covid. Bit disappointed that the toastie menu has been scaled back and there's no tuna available now although the staff did explain the reasoning behind this decision. A good visit, on the whole, toasties were nice, but it wasn't quite the fantastic lunch time treat I was hoping for and the chips were a little disappointing. Great welcome from the staff behind the bar and I'd still recommend this venue as a nice place for lunch.
fabulous family meal in the winter garden of the building on 5th juli 2022. great quality eating and extremely attentive service, taste and presentation top notch. can highly recommend the pizzas, and also the fabulous selection of local therange. this was my second visit during the stay in the opposite and will definitely aim to return.
Lovely place but we were so disappointed with the lunch as the chips which are a rare treat for us, were awful. They tasted as though they had been cooked 2 days ago and been reheated several times. A small discount to our bill was given but did little to make up for a very disappointing meal with friends.
Lovely quiet and civilised establishment, with plenty of parking in a peaceful part of the Wirral. No background music Wonderful! (This was on a quiet Thursday evening watching the Morris Dancers outside. I don 't know if it 's the same at other times. Book a table now
it's a past, since our last visit, only past and stopped for a quick lunch. order a cheese and ham toasties, where offered chips but rejected. just as good because when the meal came, it was more than enough. our lunch was delicious will go back.
nice eating, seemed a good choice of beer. great old fashion pub, which looks like nothing had been changed since it opened. flooring, wooden benches, low beams, pretty charming. many seats in the open, many parking spaces are visited again.
The most amazing staff, atmosphere and food. If there was a higher rating available I would easily give it. Honestly beautiful place, people and the food is simply amazing. Highly recommend a visit!

Fabulous service, by all members of staff but especially Emma. Lovely, warming atmosphere. Varied menu with fantastic food. Excellent value. All requests satisfied with no fuss.
