Honestly, the best Mexican restaurant around. The food may take a bit longer to be served, but that's because they make everything to order. I've been to just about every Mexican restaurant in greater Hartford and Coyote Flaco's food is definitely the best tasting and they are very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Upon my return to the restaurant, the bartender recognized me and asked if I wanted the same drink as before... priceless. Delicious Mexican food, run by a genuinely warm family. While it is a smaller restaurant, it doesn't feel cramped, and there is some covered outdoor seating available. The decor is tasteful and feels authentic. The food is wonderful, and only exceeded by the hospitality. I highly recommend visiting Coyote Flaco for a cocktail, enchiladas, carnitas, fajitas, and any of your other favorites from our southern neighbors!

We have been going to Coyote Flaco in Hartford for over 20 years. It is fantastic. completely family owned, always consistent, always professional, accommodating, personable and the food is clean, healthy and delicious. We have been going there so long that the once babies of the family are now waitstaff and attending college. What an amazing legacy.Vegetarian options: Spinach Quesadilla is perfect and super healthy.
Chicken wings were good but needed some hot wing sauce but the tostones OMG so good fresh made not oily, delicious. The tamales are good one as appetizer is good for a little dinner if you spoiled on appetizers. The trio enchiladas the beef our favorite.
