Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at the Roseville, Michigan Cracker Barrel. The staff was friendly, but that was the only redeeming factor for the evening. We arrived just after 6:00 on a Sunday evening to a half empty restaurant but told it would be a 50 minute wait. We spent some time wandering the store and playing checkers on the patio out front. After an hour and 15 minutes we were seated. The server came to take our order, but then informed us that they were out of a number of side items and there was a wait on the mashed potatoes. It will be a long time before we will be going back. The service was terrible. My drink came with my food. I had asked for sweet tea with lemon and never did get lemon for my tea. My husband had water, got his before his food, but he waited like forever. We asked for jelly and had to ask for that twice and only got two jelly's, I guess one for each of my biscuits. We had to ask for napkins and never got those until we were done with our food. We had to ask for our bill. And when we got our bill it was someone else's bill. At this point, they should probably just shut down this location. We were told it was a 30 minute wait when we got there and we walked out after talking to a manager after waiting an hour and 10 minutes. They said they were short staffed and only had three waitresses, no one was doing anything to assist these waitresses. The manager and staff did absolutely nothing to get people through the door and were a little late when being honest about time. We’ve been to this location a few times before with no problems, but our recent trip there was not so great. We got seated quickly but our server took a long time to get us our drinks and take our orders. She also forgot to put in our appetizer and didn’t tell us. We asked about it when we got our food she said it will be out soon. It didn’t come out until we were nearly finished with our meal then we saw the order ticket which showed she never put in the order for it until after we had asked. Silverware was dirty (see photo). Chicken strips were fine (slightly cold) but the mac and cheese was awful. No flavor at all and super mushy. Not sure if I will be returning.

Placed an online order for curbside pickup. Had ordered over easy eggs for the benedict and they were not over easy and tasted a little funny. They forgot the kids meal side of apples and I wouldn’t consider the eggs for that to be scrambled… they were overcooked on one side and slimy on the other. Overall not worth the almost $50 spent (we also ordered one other breakfast entree that was decent- sirloin was cooked to temp at least). Hashbrown casserole and hashbrown bites were good. Biscuits were also baked well, not dry.
The place was dirty , floor sticky to walk on . No plates given with biscuits which I had before dinner. Watched people who sat after us get their food ! Waited 45 minutes for our dinner . Manager had an attitude, kitchen is backed up !when final got the food it’s was wrong and super hot as it came out of microwave . No cutlery , had to ask. Third and finally time of poor service we will not step foot in Cracker Barrel in Roseville ! Cracker Barrel Co-op should be ashamed.
We enjoyed the food so much that we purchased the mix before leaving. The atmosphere was fun and lively. Although I ordered crispy bacon and it came out practically raw, the restaurant was busy so I remained patient and enjoyed my tasty breakfast. The charming little syrup bottles were a nice touch and added a warm, inviting feel. Overall, I look forward to returning for dinner soon.
I can't give this restaurant 5 stars because it took them forever to seat us and serve our breakfast. Waiting 45 minutes for both is too long, even though I am a patient person. However, I must admit the food was delicious and worth the wait.

Waited toooo long for food to come and when it did, it was less than impressive: lukewarm, not fresh, and tasteless. The candy store was the highlight for me. I won't be back!
