Waited 40 minutes to receive cold food, mashed potatoes that were like glue, pancakes that looked like they were from the kids menu (and were cold). A kids chicken strip meal had literally 4 fries on the plate. Asked for a manager who came to the table and just stood looking at us after I mentioned everything wrong. He finally said he would fix it. Brought new pancakes that were good, microwaved the same bland glue-like potatoes, brought zero extra fries and never checked in with us again. Now … – show
Food was cold for everyone at the table, portions were much smaller than usual and Manager was basically non-responsive when we expressed our complaint and was clear he did not seem to care. The only reason I am giving 2 stars and not 1 is because I know times are tough and many businesses are short staff but customer service should be pretty simple. Especially since they were not even busy.
NOT ALLERGEN FRIENDLY. Though they have an allergen friendly menu online, this store DOES NOT cater to needs. From the manager “everything is cooked in butter there’s nothing dairy free.” Service was terrible. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant when we arrived and it took 15 minutes to get our drinks.
Bad service, had to ask another worker to get our waitress to get a refill and it took 35—40 minutes to get our food. There was no one else in the restaurant since it was an hour before they closed when we got there.

Food irritates my stomach no matter what I order. Staff is friendly and has good timing with food. Atmosphere is welcoming. 4 stars because I don't like the food but the restaurant is run well.
It doesn't matter what Cracker Barrel we go to, they never cook my eggs like I want them, even after explaining it to the server. Our service was great and the other food was good.
We had a longer wait due to a staff shortage. But our severe was very good and got us taken care of right away. Our food was hot and delicious..
Not as good as it once was. I'm sure dine-in would be better than take out.
