Went in to have breakfast but when I saw they had meatloaf available, I had it with mashed potatoes, corn and brown gravy.. The service was courteous and prompt. With Xmas near, there were some decorations that provided some Xmas spirit. I wondered if the gingerbread house was actually constructed of gingerbread. I used to work for Cracker Barrel so I have high expectations. The server was 4 stars (highest achievement in training and experience) yet did not serve as expected. Other people had food before us, she forgot to bring out my dumplings, then told me they were out of dumplings and did not offer any discount for the problems. The food was delicious as always, however. Hopefully she was just having a bad night.
The food was very good. when the server came and took our order,we asked for honey to go with our corn bread. she never brought out the honey with our food order. I had asked her 2 times and she never brought the honey out, seem like it sure is hard to get good service now days.
Stopped in while traveling for the holidays. Great food and REALLY great service. Would eat here again if ever passing through.

The strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes are amazing. If you like pancakes and have a sweet tooth, you must get them.
Delicious comfort food served in a homey atmosphere. Being near the fireplace worked out well for us.
