My favorite spot for a good old meal of beans, cornbread, and collards is really disappointing me with its Suwanee location. I usually eat there at least once a week, but today my food was cold. I ordered country-fried steak with gravy and three sides: mashed potatoes (no gravy), collards, pinto beans, and cornbread, along with four extra pieces after asking them to remove all the ham, which I don’t eat. Unfortunately, I was left with just two bites of collards. The pinto beans were in a separate container, but it was only a quarter full, and I received four pieces of cornbread along with two biscuits. I only ordered two cornbread for my meal, not four extras. I do have pictures for referenc...
I was surprised to find out that they are now serving alcohol! I hadn't experienced that yet. Our server, Darrin, was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. He was well-informed about the menu and incredibly helpful. The French toast is the best around, and the biscuits with jelly are delicious as well. The portion sizes are generous. I will definitely return for the tasty food; they consistently deliver great quality. Over the years, the standards haven’t really changed, and that’s a good thing!
Karmen was amazing! We had to wait a bit longer than normal for a table cause it was busy! We have 3 kids and they were hungry and fussy. Karmen took care of us, got us drinks, helped grab us a biscuit to feed the little baby and sped our orders to get us taken care of. Wonderful experience, service, and food. Food was great, but service was top notch!
I will be back to this place. Outstanding vegetables. Customer service is second to none. Im not just stating this, I experienced it. They go out of their way to make sure that you leave over satisfied. Great food, outstanding service and very clean and disinfected.
