This was a stop for us on a Saturday morning for brunch about 11:00am. I got the breakfast, my hubby got lunch. Food was served quickly. I ordered ham with my eggs and potato casserole. It also had 2 biscuits with gravy. The ham was way too salty to even eat. I’m not sure why or how? The gravy had no seasoning. It was sausage gravy, but it just tasted like flour and water. No flavor at all. My husband had a hamburger and enjoyed it. It was hot and cooked as ordered. I did have a fancy coffee- not even sure what it was but delicious- I highly recommend. A Golden Nugget south of twin cities. Great breakfast lunch meals at affordable prices. I enjoy the good service, the country scene and the general store. What it highlights is the cookies and Gravy. The Country Boy Breakfast has the 8 oz Sirloin Steak. It was a good cut boiled great at med. rare with taste. Overall, I was amazed at how delicious my meal was. If this restaurant isn't on your radar, it's worth the ride to Lakeville.
We came to brunch today. I ordered land fried steak with potatoes, broccoli, biscuits with blackberry jam and gravy. I had a sweet peach tea to drink. My friend had steak with sunny eggs, grits, cookies and fried apples. The country store was fun to see. There were many nice finds.
Love that you can order breakfast for lunch every day, and the food was great. We had to wait about 15 minutes as busy, but spent time in the gift shop highly recommended.
