The only part of this place that was nice was the first part you go in. The waitress we had was rude and acted like she didn't want to be there. For an older woman, I would have expected more. The food was not good at all. One piece of chicken was so inedible I couldn't even cut it with the knife. Almost like it was all grisle or something ..I will never go back. I'll go to the one in straw plains if I want good food and service. Never the one on merchant's again.
I'm done with this location. Especially for pickup. They forgot a bag and then gave us the same bag that had been sitting there for 40 minutes. This is the second time it's happened. Nothing worse that driving 15 minutes back home just to turn around and drive another 30 minute round trip. An easy meal always ends up being much harder than it would have been to just cook myself.
My order was incorrect, as three items I paid for were missing. The food came cold and wasn’t good at all. We have always enjoyed great service in the past, which is why we returned. I attempted to call twice to inform them about the missing items, but no one answered.
It was delicious, our waitress Terri was a DELIGHT and recommended the food we ultimately ordered. It was SO busy and full so the noise level was a lot, but we we're comfortable otherwise. Book a table now
Good country cooking. Our family has a tradition of going to Cracker Barrel on Saturday mornings for breakfast. We enjoy a relaxing morning together.
