On a very stress-filled, emotional day (this past Monday) I just wanted to get a good meal at Cracker Barrel. I went alone, and sat engulfed in the thoughts of the day, not very mindful of things happening around me. From the moment my server introduced herself, she made me fell like she knew I needed a bit of help focusing, and she patiently waited while I tried to order. She could somehow read my thoughts, and helped me get the words out. During my stay, she attended quickly to my every need, usually showing up before I could ask for her. It’s been about 6+ years since I’ve eaten at a CB. Still the same. Last night we arrived in time for dinner and to camp overnight then breakfast in the morning. Dinner was good (loved the greens and Mac chz)and breakfast just ok. It gets 2 stars. Coffee just wasn’t that hot, gravy think and Luke warm. Actually it was all just like warm. Ashley was our server and she was pleasant and quick with her service. Last night at dinner Elizabeth waited on us and she was a super sweet girl and good at her job too. The cashier last night was just bland. No hi, hello, or thank you. The morning cashier was pleasant. The gift shop was so nice as always and full of spring things. We bought some fun candies...
I had a wonderful experience when we visited on Father's Day! We arrived at 12:30, and Terry C. was our server. He was very professional, and the food was prepared and served quickly and deliciously. He made sure our drinks were always filled and that we were happy with everything we ordered. It's been nearly six years since I last ate at a Cracker Barrel, and I can't believe I waited so long to come back because the food was fantastic! I will definitely be visiting more often. Thank you for the excellent service and great food!
Good food service was a bit slow. Our server was very nice but she had a big section as was having trouble keeping up when we first sat down. From the time we were seated until our food finally came out it was over 30 minutes. This isn’t terrible and maybe the new norm based on labor shortages. I thought the food was very good and consistent with the Cracker Barrel’s I’ve eaten at in the past. Book a table now
They had just had two large parties come in shortly before we arrived the last being a party of 26 kids and 4 adults so we knew our food would take awhile. Austin, our server, was great. He was attentive, kept us informed, and kept our drinks full. The food was hot, tasty, and was exactly what we ordered.
The food was absolutely fantastic! I almost felt like my grandmother was in the kitchen—so delicious that it made me laugh out loud. My waiter, Austin, was exceptional; he must be the best on the team. He made me feel like I was dining at a five-star restaurant, complete with a red carpet treatment.
Breakfast was good. I enjoyed it. If you get breakfast, try the Country Big Boy breakfast. You get a lot of food. Oh and it comes with a beautiful size steak for a good price!
