We placed a pickup order at 7:54 a.m. and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:20 a.m. and had to ask about my order at least three times before the hostess finally went back to check on it. I noticed two other customers cancel their orders and leave while I waited.
At 8:47 a.m., the hostess brought my order, explaining that the takeout server was overwhelmed with six orders. However, when I got to my hotel room, I discovered we were missing a side of bacon. Additionally, everything was cold; the grits were dry and crusted over, and what were supposed to be two eggs were rubbery from obviously sitting out for too long.

Extremely Slow Service! They told us it would be a 10-minute wait, but we ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes! When we inquired, the person at the entrance explained that no one showed up for work in the kitchen and later mentioned another issue was causing delays. I observed the staff being rude to customers who were growing increasingly impatient due to the long waits. Many tables remained unoccupied for extended periods. We usually stop at a Cracker Barrel when we're in town for dinner. We ordered the meatloaf, steak fries, dumplings, and a salad. My wife ordered pancakes. The meatloaf was thicker than what I'm used to at other places, but I didn't mind it. The fries were standard. Unfortunately, the dumplings were dry, and I couldn't eat them. They also charged me extra for the salad, which was a surprise. Overall, we both had average meals.
The service was somewhat disappointing this evening. My takeout tray had barely any corn, and the cornbread was so hard that I could probably break a window by throwing it. I also had to ask the cashier for tartar sauce, despite having requested it over the phone. Please work on being consistent! I truly enjoy this restaurant, especially since one nearby has already shut down.

Oneka was our server and what a privilege it was to sit in Onekas section. Oneka was the absolute best server we have ever experienced in our lives. Oneka was so gracious and humble and made sure everything was about the customer. We still talk about them and you can know what you have in your restaurant!
I went there on a Friday night with my son the food was good served warm and fresh . The server was nice and the girl working in the country store was great . We will be back.

We LOVE the breakfast at Cracker Barrel!! The pancakes just melt in your mouth and the hashbrown casserole gives me life!!! We always get great customer service!!
