I will be honest, I give in the rule either 5 star ratings or no rating at all, so this is my first ever 4 star rating, but let me explain why: I ordered the Hawaiian burger, medium heavy, with sweet kartoffel fries and apfelsalat for the sides. this has been done online for collection. I went right inward when I was notified that the job was finished, and sis at the front admitted that she just put the job in but sent the notification early so that the people (typically 10 minutes later) their food was hot and ready to go. I appreciated her hospitable mission and waited patiently. I was surprised that less than 10 minutes later she brought out my order, but before I took a chance and asked...
I wanted to love this place. the decoration is fab. the menu reads like a dream. but the burgers were just so blazing. I am not sure if they are made in the house, so I will not accept, but I will say that the texture and taste was that of a costco frozen burger so that we were super beaten. for positive: the brotpudding was super tasty and the sweet kartoffel fries too. another plus is that they have a beautiful Bourbon selection and I enjoyed a hotchstadlers slow n low rock and roggen on the rocks. I don't see that a lot in restaurants, so it was a beautiful tasty. I will try again to see if it was just a night for the burgers.
the atmosphere was very family friendly. server was new, but fully aware, menu options. I had a hühnerburger option that was decent. sweet potatoes fries where cut. the mac n cheese tasted as if it were power. Gouda cheese sticks n BBQ sauce were 5/10. define something I would try again. overall not a place I revisit, but I encourage them to try and have their own experience.
Nice place to get a good burger. Friendly staff. Had the BBQ burger w onion rings (but they were more like strings) apple slaw. Everything tasted good. Very busy popular this was on a Thurs evening.
