We visited Cramptons late on a Saturday about 3.00pm and were lucky as the kitchen closes at 3.15pm. We ordered the large salsa nachos to share.When they came up the plate was huge with nachos covered in melted cheese, salsa, jalapeno peppers and separate pots of guacemole and sour cream. They were delicious and more than enough for two.I am disabled and in a wheelchair and they have a big disabled toilet which is spotlessly clean but has no lock so if people who can't be bothered to use the ordinary toilets need to go they can just walk in! Well what can I say apart from cheap lunch with a starter of garlic bread or soup which can I add is a favourite of mine no matter what flavour as home made and always nice then choice of about 6 to 8 meals for your main which change all the time always good variety so something for all u get both for £5.50 which I think good price never had anything I would turn my nose up or complain about staff friendly and helpful garden to sit out on nice days or heaters provided if hilly with shelter as well often visit with kids or friends or family members as it seems to work for most so worth a visit if u over there or fancy cheap meal with stayed cooked fresh
It's always a pleasure coming here for a drink, the staff are always smiling and provide a warm welcome. Good range of beers, Moretti being my favourite.It's a Wednesday lunch time and the place is really busy so the food is obviously good. Being at the top end of the high street away from the beach would normally be seen as a bad location, however its well worth a walk up the hill. Yesterday on August 20th, 2020, three adults and three children met for lunch at the restaurant. We had one of the beach huts, which the children adored. It was a lovely and cool atmosphere on a beautiful day. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptional and well worth the price. They even helped with a surprise birthday cake. We always enjoy coming here. Our overall experience was a perfect 10 out of 10.

When the food finally arrived, I bit into my burger and immediately spat it out. It was tough and overcooked, with an overwhelming amount of sage. It was truly disgusting and reminded me of a Gordon Ramsay moment. The chili con carne was okay, but the rice was soggy. It's a shame because there is so much potential at this restaurant with a good chef.
Popped in to Cramptons yesterday for a late lunch. A 2 course lunch for £5.00 sounded excellent value for money and it didn't disappoint. I opted for the Soup (Tomato) followed by Chilli Rice, and my wife for a whole Garlic Bread followed by Lasagne with Salad. Very tasty, plenty of food, and tasted excellent. Highly recommended.
Once again come to lunxh with my sister to get the meal deal which is a bargain ,u can have garlic bread or home made soup as a starter then theres about 8 different mains to choose from so variety for everyone and its only a fiver so good value for money and always nice never had bad meal here
We decided to have a working lunch in Cramptons and weren't disappointed. Very friendly and helpful staff and a light and airy environment. A good selection on the menu and my jacket potato was huge and with a nice salad, definitely good value for money,Will definitely visit again!
