Whilst on a cycle along the Mediterranean coastline, I arrived into the quiet port of Saint Mandrier. Having showered and rested my weary bones, my tummy started to rumble with hunger. Not being familiar with the village, I walked its entire length and without doubt, the most populated establishment on this Friday night was the local Creperie Au Roy d’Ys. I suspect I was the only non French tourist. Every other table was filled with happy, chatting French folk always a good sign. The food was delicious and served with great enthusiasm by Joris and his energetic bunch of friends, all of which was overseen by his mother.
