Chez Angel is a very warm and welcoming thatch roof Crêperie based in a wonderful surroundings. The beautiful granite stone building invites you on a trip down memory lane. The interior is furnished with taste and the large stone fire place at the back will warm your heart and feet in the middle of winter. The host "Francis" is a very charming chap that will introduce to an organic menu sourced from local produce. Our suggestion is to start with a "Blé Noir" means "Buckwheat" accompanied by a lovely bottle of local cider ou "Cidre" and move on to the savoury Crêpes. We had Chévre et Miel "Goat cheese and honey" followed by les saint jacques flambées au cognac - "Cognac flambées scallops" and...

Came across this beautiful creperie quite by accident, on our way to Port Belon there it was right on roadside a quaint truly stunning thatched building looked as if it might have been more at home in the heartlands of rural England. Could not resist...stopping for a quick crepe, as we had already enjoyed a somewhat large late breakfast at our nearby hotel. Not disappointed, crepe was lovely, as was bottle of local cider! Superb, highly recommend, not only for the quality of the food and friendly welcome but also to admire the setting and charming well cared locality. Don't miss it.

The crepes are genuine sarrasin, beautifully cooked with a good choice on the menu. Good choice and value of wine and cider/soft drinks (though not extensive). This is always pleasant to visit, as well as to eat in: a beautifully renovated chaumiere and a warm personal welcome. A visit is a fixture on our schedule when in the area and we always come away having had a great time, a good meal and paid (only) a reasonable price.
