Gordes is a wonderful and picturesque village, but we were only stopping for a short time on an independent day trip from Avignon. We needed a quick lunch so we could continue exploring the other lovely hillside villages of Vaucluse. While there was a set lunch offering, we opted for just the one course. You pay the same for one course from the a la carte menu as you will for the 2 course set lunch, but for us a simple meal was enough. Our tomato and goat’s cheese tarts were quickly served, delicious and served with fresh greens. Serving size was adequate. Outside tables have views to the main square or down the road and over the lovely fields. We found the service polite.
Don't want to spend much time describing what is wrong with this place, other reviews have already done the job. Staff behave like they have a thoisand more important things to do other than serve their customers, the food is simply bad. Even their specialty - crepes- are raw inside and burned on the outside.On the top of everything they did not let us split (a large) bill in two. Either pay by one card, they said, or cash.How do they even survive in this day and age??Avoid.
We wanted to eat sweet crepes, drink coffe and wine and they didn't let us sit there. They said only none sweet food can be served at the table. Then my friend wanted to eat a menu, me and my partner were not that hungry (because we wanted to eat sweet crepes and they didn't want to serve us) so we ordered 2x coffee and 2x wine and they said that all off us must order something to eat and not sweet. So we have to leave without drinks and food on 34 degrees celsius. WTF????
Located on a very steep side street, the al fresco dining offers an interesting view (you are seated very street side) in one of France's most beautiful towns. A nice lunch menu of crepes and salads along with pitchers of wine. Nice food, but the experience of eating there is why you do.

We had a set lunch and it was a perfect lunch, all 3 courses (we both had different choices) were well cooked, well presented and tasty. Busy little place with a buzzing atmosphere and good service. Don't know why it rates so low on TA!
The crepes were totally burnt or rather charred. The staff was rude and fighting amongst themselves. Totally unlike any other French people we met or places we visited. I would strongly advise not going here.
we sat there for lunch and its a good choice. you can sat outside or inside. crepes comes with a really nice salad. I had bacon and egg crepes. ice cream for dessert! worth visiting.
Worst crepes in France! I wish we've read the reviews before eating there. And it's not cheap for the awful food they offer! The staff was very rude.

A nice little bistrot, with very friendly service. Food nice; we chose the 2 course menu, with pancakes for dessert. All OK, and not very expensive.
Very poor service and food. A bottle of water it costs 4,50€!! The waitress was very rude... she shouldn't work for the public!!
