The food was nice, tasty and reasonably priced. They have a wide range of vegetarian options which I appreciated a lot. Offering a cider is something quite unique in Saint-Pierre, I really liked the sweet apple cider. But the restaurant overall truly lacks ambience. The pop music they play doesn 't match the uncreative decor. The service was slow, we had to wait very long before our order was taken, even though there were not a lot of guests and the waitress was just busy cleaning up some tables. She walked past us multiple times but did not care to take our order.
Location is good and central. Service was kind. Being vegetarians, we had two different kinds of vegetarian galettes. The one with cheese, mushrooms and fresh cream was quite good. However, the galette vegetale was basically just raw vegetables inside a galette, so not much in terms of taste. Salad on the side was ok.
Popped in here with my son for lunch on our first day in Reunion. We had a galette jambon fromage and a galette Popeye and 2 Dodo beers for 23 euros, really good and reasonably priced. We tried to go back for lunch on Easter Monday with the family but sadly it was closed. Would recommend.
We luckily found this cute restaurant. The food is very tasty and the prices are great. We do recommend the apple cider! But most of all the Staff was very nice and polite although we barely speak any French. We definitely will visit again during the following days!
