I just had lunch, and it didn't meet my expectations. Right from the beginning, the server assumed we understood the menu items, but the only menu we received was a simple paper printout without any descriptions. We ordered a burger with mayonnaise and specifically requested no onions or pickles. When it arrived, it had both onions and pickles, and there was no mayonnaise at all. I also ordered a margarita flatbread, which looked more like a plain flatbread pizza you’d find in a box. To top it off, the cups on the table still had lip marks from the previous customers. It’s such a beautiful hotel, so it’s disappointing to find a restaurant like this inside.
This American food restaurant, located on the ground floor of the Marriott hotel next to Nassau Coliseum, provides a simple and satisfying dining experience. It's an excellent spot for a meal before or after an event at the Coliseum. The interior boasts impressive large-scale patriotic prints and a stunning wall mosaic made of live green plants. The generous serving of creamy Long Island clam chowder is hearty enough to serve as a complete lunch on its own. The spicy buffalo wings were so good that we had to take them home, where we thoroughly enjoyed them as a separate meal.
The food is decent, but I had a disappointing experience during breakfast. The service was quite poor, especially considering it's a Marriott. The cups were dirty, as they had been left out on the table, particularly the milk. I'm not sure why they would leave the milk out like that. Overall, I felt that the value wasn't worth it.
Prices are relatively high for hotel food, but the quality is good. It's convenient since you don't have to go anywhere but downstairs to the first floor. They have plenty of alcohol choices and plenty of seats for dining in.

We arrived on time for our reservation only to find out that the restaurant was closed and the kitchen was not accepting any orders. I recommended that they update their reservation system through OpenTable.
The server and team were extremely helpful, and the food was fantastic. We are so sorry for the potential impact that the virus will have on all the employees. Our thoughts are with you.
The food is fresh and full of flavor. My only issue is that the sides are pricier than I would like. I should also mention that the quality of the food is excellent.
Tasty Kale Salad with Salmon and a fine selection of local microbrews. Michelle was very helpful as she provided me with samples to decide about a flavor to enjoy.
