This lovely neighborhood pub has been converted into a Wetherspoons, offering a practical menu with a great selection of real ales on tap. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any steak or fish available on a Friday morning, but ended up enjoying a BBQ chicken dish instead. The service was a bit slow with only one bartender on duty, especially because of a group in front of me who couldn't make up their minds. Despite this, I had a pleasant experience overall and would definitely visit again.
The Wetherspoons we went to was quite good. They had a great selection of Scottish beers and the food was tasty and served quickly. The only downside for me was the dim lighting, it felt like being in a cave. Some people had to use the flashlight on their phones to read the menu!
The food and drinks arrived quickly. The staff were very friendly. I have no complaints! The portion of chips with the burger was larger than at other Wetherspoons locations. I tried the new Quorn katsu curry.
