I was passing Lyneham a few weeks ago and having been based there thought I'd pop in and recce the museum to see if its worth taking my family. The staff were very inviting and allowed me to have a quick look around. It brought...back many memories of when this was the Officers Mess. I thought I'd grab a quick coffee for the trip home and ended up speaking to the lovely Amy for quite some time. Pleasant, well educated and lovely customer service. It was a really nice way to round off what turned out to be quite an emotional but short visit. All the best for the future Amy; you have a bright future ahead! I will definitely be returning with the family. Well done; you made my day. Paul ps. I d...

we visited the Reme Museum and wanted to have something to eat. we missed the breakfast served until midday, but the lunch menu was varied. 3 of us ordered the sausage roll, chips and drilling, and 1 had the chicken and speck cäsar salad....They arrived in time. the plates were full, which made a nice change of others that do not put enough on the plate. the rare breed homemade sausage roll was amazing. I can't even describe how it tasted and the baked was perfectly cooked. the salat was a decent size and filled up my daughter. for 4 hungry people including 2 coffees, an icy coffee and a hot chocolate cost it under £40, which was reasonable. eating is locally fresh and homemade in the areas

we were through the opposite, who needed a stop to lunch and found this place on google. we were so glad we made it! the caffe has a fantastic playground in the garden with many interesting and unique things to play. The food was tasty and good value for money and the personal was friendly and accommodating our rather chaotic entry with small child twins! will definitely be back when we are next in the opposite

the personal was very friendly, and the caffe was set up to a very high standard. very quiet on a Sunday and eating is very tasty, obviously handmade, there was about a customs caramel on the short brot! would recommend 100% to the families or friends to meet after visiting the museum for coffee or even for a coffee. Family visiting from Australia so we just had to visit the REME Museum the CROWNS Cafe. It was so interesting in the Museum, very enlightening incredibly informative. To top off our visit was a lovely cuppa panini in Crowns Cafe.

A somewhat limited menu, although we did visit mid-afternoon following a visit to the museum. Quality of the food was good, generous portions and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful.
