Recently taken over by another successful business in Jaén, the Cuatro Esquinas bar has raised the standards...even more! it used to be nice and now it 's even nicer. You 'll be welcome with a cold beer and a free tapa (did you know that tapas are for free in Jaén? . Chances are the first tapa will be a very typical Spanish dish migas (Google it for pics and recipes . It has a small sitting area, as traditionally people pop in for two drinks, them move to another bar in the evening to have different styles of tapas. Staff is nice and efficient too. Can 't wait to go back home to have some drinks and tapas there!
Una parada obligada en la ruta de la tapa. Desde hace tiempo, el origen de la cadena Panaceite. Sigue haciendo migas diarias y arroz los domingos. No es la taberna de hace 20 años, aunque mantiene la esencia. Tapas predefinidas por ronda (migas, chacinas, patatas bravas, ... . El flamenquin que pedimos estaba bastante refrito, las migas muy saladas.

Es un sitio muy pintoresco y acogedor. Para nosotros, lo mejor fue el servicio ya que la camarera morena, además de ser de lo más agradable, se preocupó de buscarle opciones vegetarianas a mi amiga. Volveremos sin duda!
